Manaia Orchard is a 7 canopy hectare orchard, built in Pongakawa, Te Puke. Orchard Contracting and Developments are proud to be involved in such a high quality and well maintained Orchard.

Our involvement

From start to finish; final plant footprint planning, leading to row orientation, shelter orientation, maximising cropping area from the titled area, accurate marking out, with the use of surveying. We then marked out and lay out, rammed all posts, completed end assemblies using long lasting and strong construction techniques and materials, ran all wires, end cables and agbeam. We then planted all plants using best practice horticultural practices. We then installed the irrigation system to the planned configuration.
